01What Le Sillage is
A fragrance diary with a catalogue, an impressions feed and a Flea Market — a place where people sell bottles from their own collections. The app is provided by Denis Sarvarov, an individual developer.
02Account
- The app requires an account with a confirmed email address.
- You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for everything done under your name.
- You must be at least 13 years old to use the app.
03What you may publish
- You are responsible for everything you publish: impressions, comments, listings.
- Insults, harassment, threats, discrimination, explicit content, spam, advertising, fraud and selling counterfeits are forbidden. We have zero tolerance for such content.
- By posting impressions, comments and listings, you accept the community rules.
- We remove violations and may restrict or close an account, as described in “How We Moderate”. You will get a message with the reason for every decision and can appeal it.
- You allow Le Sillage to show what you made public to other users of the app for as long as the post stays public.
04Flea Market
- Deals are made directly between seller and buyer. Le Sillage is not a party to them and is not responsible for the quality, authenticity or delivery of bottles.
- Sell only what belongs to you and matches the description.
- State the bottle’s condition: sealed, opened or decant.
- You may not sell counterfeits, testers or samples marked “not for sale”, empty bottles or boxes.
- Contacts, links and offers to continue outside the app are not allowed in a listing.
- A listing stays up for 30 days and can be extended.
- We do not check whether bottles are genuine. Report counterfeits — we remove such listings.
05Catalogue
The fragrance catalogue is for reference. We try to keep it accurate but do not guarantee completeness. Fragrances you suggest appear in the catalogue after review.
Only the editors see the photo of a bottle you send. The artist uses it to draw the bottle illustration — it will appear in the catalogue for everyone. Send only your own photos: by sending a photo, you allow Le Sillage to use it as a model for the drawing.
06Liability
The app is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses arising from its use. This does not limit your rights as a consumer.
07Governing law
These terms are governed by French law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection given by the laws of the country where you live and can bring a claim before the courts of your place of residence.
08Changes
We may update the app and these terms. We will announce significant changes in the app.
