Privacy Policy

Revision of 5 October 2026

Le Sillage is a fragrance diary. The data controller is Denis Sarvarov, an individual developer. Questions and data requests: support@lesillage.me.

01Data we collect

02What others can see

Everything else — diary, notes, private impressions, wardrobe — is visible only to you.

An author can’t see who reported them. A blocked person can’t see who blocked them, but won’t be able to reply to you. The editors see what you made visible to others, reports, and photos of bottles you sent for a drawing. The editors do not see your diary, notes, private impressions or wardrobe.

03How we use data

04Legal basis

05Who else is involved

We do not sell data and do not track you across other apps. There are currently no ads or advertising trackers in the app. If they appear, we will update this policy in advance and ask for your consent where the law requires it.

06How long data is kept

As long as your account exists. When you delete your account, your diary, wardrobe, impressions, comments, reactions, listings, bottle photos and profile are deleted with it. Anonymous “Popular today” counts remain — they cannot tell who wore what.

The editors’ decisions and a copy of a removed post are kept for one year after the decision — even if the account is deleted — to handle appeals and protect the community from repeat violations. If an account is closed, we keep its email address while the closure lasts, so that no new account can be created with it.

Reports of illegal content are kept for one year after the decision on them. Server logs — up to 14 days. Correspondence with support — up to one year after the last email. After deletion, data remains in backups for up to 14 more days.

07Your rights

08Age

The app is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

09Changes

We may update this policy. We will announce significant changes in the app; the revision date always appears at the top.
