How we work with sources

Every fact in an article has a link to its source; the list of sources sits at the end of the piece together with the date it was checked.

News items are our own retelling with a link to the original source. We do not copy other people's texts.

Notes in the atlas are shown according to the Le Sillage catalogue. The source is given wherever it is known.
